It's Time!

In less than 48 hours, I will have another baby to snuggle! It always amazes me how time flies. Friday is the big day... I will be at 39 weeks and we have a scheduled induction for that morning, and it's a good thing as I have a feeling this baby could be a big one! We are super excited to have this one be a surprise- no one knows if this is a boy or girl (not even the dr. knows!)

At the beginning of this week, my husband helped me take our last maternity pictures. I set up all the settings on the camera and showed him an example of what I wanted him to capture and he did a great job. We got the tripod and timer involved for the image of the 2 of us together.

Modeling Marathon

Bella has had quite the number of modeling jobs over the last month! She's not as fast to model eeach item anymore, as she seems to have much better plans than mommy, for what to do with her time. If we are indoors and she thinks she's done, she runs towards the door and then promptly turns around and yells, "bye bye"! She's just growing up way too fast. It's interesting to think of what she's going to do when her new baby brother or sister arrives in just 2 days. I love this girlie so much... I'm just not ready for her to not be the baby anymore!

Gonna Pop- One of These Days!

I can't believe this baby belly is still growing! My husband helped me take these pictures on Feb. 26th, right at 34 weeks. They look more like I should be at the very end, rather than having 6 weeks left to go! We don't think baby will stay in that long though, since this is the 5th and baby's movements are so big and strong. There's been tons of contractions as well.

This one is going to be a surprise baby. We decided not to find out if it's a boy or girl, so there will be plenty of excitement in the delivery room this year. I posted a few of these pictures on my Facebook fan page last week, and it's been so fun reading all the feedback on opinions as to whether this one is a boy or girl.

I have found that it is very hard to pick out anything for this baby, so as of now we have a package of clear pacifiers, a package of diapers and some wipes-- the staples right?! It's a good thing we have 3 boys and 1 girl already, so I can dig out some clothes to wash after baby is born. It was tough picking out the coming home from the hospital outfit last week though! I ended up coming home with 2 newborn boy outfits and 2 newborn girl outfits, so my husband could help me decide. We've decided to keep all 4 outfits until after baby is born and then just return the 2 that do not suit baby's gender.

Many have asked about maternity leave, so I've got all the details posted under the last picture at the end of this post :)

Baby #5 at 34 weeks

Bella Grace Photography is now on maternity leave! I am due to have our next little one at the beginning of April and since this will be my 5th, and I want to try to provide enough attention to every one of them, I will be taking a longer maternity leave this time. I will be officially back to doing photoshoots in mid to end of September. I may decide to take on a few photoshoots here and there over the summer for those that I have photographed for in the past, AND whom have already contacted me about a summer session-- this is still undecided though, as it just depends on how things are going with 5 little ones over the summer.

Double the Sweetness: TWINS!

These sweet little sisters were just adorable! At right around 5 lbs each, they were the tiniest little ones I've ever photographed... like little peanuts. The girls put up quite a fight to stay awake for the first 45 minutes, but once they fell asleep, they were OUT.

It was amazing watching their mommy and daddy take care of them... feeding and diapering. This is their first set of babies, and they seem to already be doing an amazing job.

Turning FIVE!

I can't believe Miss Baylie is already turning 5. I remember when we first met her- when her big brother and my oldest played soccer together, years ago... seemed like she was still such a baby then. Time just goes by so fast. What a little lady, Baylie is growing up to be already. Baylie's big brother, Blake even jumped in for a few fun pictures. They are so cute together... but don't tell Blake that!

This handsome big guy came to see me for his 6 month pictures last week. He was so smiley and happy--- the best kind of baby! It wasn't until the very end that he started to get fussy, but you can't blame the little man- when it's naptime, it's naptime!

Presley is ONE!

I love to see how much little ones have grown when they return throughout their first year, and little miss Presley is no exception! She was a bit timid for her 1 year session, but still gave up a handful of smiles :) What a pretty little princess she has grown into!

Avery: 6 Months

Little miss Avery is such a pretty little princess. She wasn't too sure of me the first time she came for her session, but it turns out she was not feeling very well, and we rescheduled for a later date. The second time around, she was all smiles... even though she had refused to take her morning nap right before the session! She crashed out for her well deserved nap, immediately after pictures. Thanks, baby A. (and mommy) for coming to see me for your 6 month milestone pictures!

Dreamy Sophia: 5 Weeks New

Sophia was such a dream baby, sleeping through just about anything, and when she did start to stir, she would more often than not, settle herself back down into the cutest natural poses! I could not have asked for better from this little girly. At 5 weeks old, she is older than I prefer for newborn images, but I'm so glad I decided to go for this one as a newborn session anyways. She was born 3 weeks early, so she was still so tiny, as if she had just come out. Sophia is such a gorgeous girl-- congrats to mommy and daddy on your new precious gift!

Valentine's 2012

It has been major cuteness overload around here lately, with all the newborns, babies and adorable toddlers that have come to see me at the "home studio" recently.

The 2012 Valentine's Itty Bitty Mini sessions filled up super fast, within an hour of the special going live on the fan page! They were a whirlwind of fun, with 7 babies and toddlers (ranging from 3 months up to 3 years), all showing off their cuteness within a 2.5 hour time frame! Phew- crazy, but fun! Here's just a few of my faves from that day...

Valentine's Itty Bitty Mini Sessions 2012

Happy BIRTH day!

Sam's arrival has been much anticipated over the last few months. I got to photograph his nine month home (mommy's baby bump), not long before his arrival, so it was so fun to get to finally meet him at 12 days old. This big guy came out a week after his due date, weighing 10 lbs, 4 ozs, and spent a bit of time in the NICU, so his session got rescheduled a couple of times, but he still slept wonderfully even though he was a bit older than originally planned for his session. He's such a little charmer with all that black hair and those squishy cheeks. Happy birth day Sam!

Happy 4th, MacKenzie!

I had a fun change of pace last weekend, while photographing this sweet family OUTDOORS! I miss doing sessions outside and can't wait for warmer weather again. It was a bit chilly on this particular day, but not too bad. I'm so glad they decided to keep the session outdoors! Without further ado, I must wish miss MacKenzie, a happy 4th birthday- so good to see you again, pretty girl!

He's Back!

The ever so handsome Mr Baxton (and big brother) came back for 3 month pictures last week. Bax was so content with just about anything- such a sweet boy. He had his serious face on most of the time, but when that smile came out, he just lit up the room. Love this little guy!

Love My Heartbreaker!

My 3 year old little man was such a studly helper, trying out some new Valentine's ideas for me. I wish this little guy would not have to grow up. Anyways, he did a great job testing out a few props on my new background, in preparation for some Valentine's Itty Bitty Mini sessions. If you missed the special for these upcoming sessions, then you'll want to make sure to go over to the Facebook fan page and "like" it, for your chance to get in on the next special. (There will not be anymore Valentine's special's until next year though). The Valentine's spots for these sessions filled up within an hour! I can't wait to see all the returning and brand new little faces.

This week, I've got a bit more Valentine prop shopping to do (how fun is that?!) and a few more decisions to make on background choices for this weekend. Valentine's sessions are just so cute!

Gorgeous Miss C: 3 Weeks New

I'm so glad sweet little baby C's mom answered to a model call that I announced on my Facebook fan page last week- this girly is just absolutely adorable! When she came over for her modeling session 2 days ago, I wasn't too sure of how she would do for sleeping images since she is already 3 weeks old, however, with some patience and lots of soothing, she continued to amaze me how she fell asleep over and over again after moving her to a different spot each time. Way to go baby C! Here's a peek at a bit of her modeling job :)
